RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CELL

The College has constituted a Research committee to monitor and address issues related to research.

The Research Committee is responsible for providing vision and leadership in relation to research and research training. The functions of the Research Committee are

• To develop research and scientific temper among students and staff
• To conduct research methodology/ project writing workshops and activities
• To motivate faculty to take up minor research projects
• To update the staff members about seminar, workshops and grants
• To  motivate students to take up Research-based projects  
• To organize Annual Research  Project  Presentation Programme for students from all stream
• To encourage faculty to pursue PhD programme 

RESEARCH COMMITTEE

An amount has been earmarked for seed grants every year. Self-financing faculty and UG and PG students are eligible to apply for Seed Grant. A proposal has to be submitted along with a detailed budget and the amount requested. The proposal along with the form has to be submitted before December 31st of every year. The proposals will be duly checked by the following  Research committee members and Scrutinizing Committee members and the Grant will be sanctioned in the first week of February.
