5. Students are taken to industrial visits and also 21 days of institutional training to various companies.
WEAKNESS OF OUR DEPARTMENT
1. Students are coming from rural areas especially from Tamil Medium
2. Students feel it is difficult to understand the accounting terminology in English.
OPPORTUNITIES OF OUR DEPARTMENT
1. Jobs are available in various private companies.
2. Students gain knowledge about the functioning of the industry through Institutional Training and Industrial Visit. They have the confidence to start the business by themselves.
3. Students are enabled to face competitive examinations because the curriculum includes Modern Approach to Reasoning and General Knowledge.
4. Tally is offered in the curriculum. It enables the students to get the job easily.
CHALLENGES
1. Lack of Admission in BBA Course due to increase in the number of Private Institutions offering same courses
2. Few students are getting married in the middle of the programme.
FUTURE PLANS OF THE DEPARTMENT
1. Department has planned to start an M.B.A programme in future.
2. The Department has planned to conduct National and International Conferences underfunding agencies.
3. The Department has planned a MoU with reputed Industries. It facilitates our students to get the job easily.
