DEPARTMENT PROFILE
With the lofty intention of inculcating advantageous education to the learners of financially inadequate backgrounds and constructing a society of strong-minded and robust women, the institution was initiated by our founder and patron Thiru. E. M. Gopalakrishnan Kone in the year 1974 at E.M.G. Kalyana Mandapam, Tallakulam to coach Pre-University courses.
B.Sc., Computer Science Major Course was started during the academic year 1998–1999. Mrs. T. Vasantha was the first Coordinator of this department (1998–2006) followed by Mrs. N. Kavitha (2007–till date).
Graduate expert professionals in computing applications who can do well as future leaders and practitioners in their careers.
The department has well-equipped computer laboratories with the state of the art technology and other facilities. We have modern facilities for teaching and learning with well-furnished ICT tools. The department offers high-quality world-class education to the students. The students are allowed to do real-time project work in the premier industries.
For the benefit of the students, the department has established MoU with Elysium Technology Private Limited, Sofia Infology and ESPE e-solution Private Limited.
