DEPARTMENT PROFILE
The department of Zoology was established in1979 and renders meritorious service to rural women students. The department has dedicated faculty members who are academically competent to teach the subjects and has published research articles both in National and International conferences/journals to their credit. The department which has a well-equipped state of the art Laboratory also utilises recent technologies in teaching. Rare collections of animal specimens in the museum and the latest books in the department library cater to the needs of the students. Our students bring laurels to the department by securing high scores and participating in all the activities including training programmes, skill development programmes and paper presentations in other institutions. The department serves as a template on which many generations of our students are shaped.
