Activity 2012 - 2013
Our College received the “Rolling Shield” for “Diploma in Gandhian Thought”, from College of Gandhian Thought for the largest participation of students among all affiliated colleges in March 2012.
Mrs.M.Tamilselvi, Assistant Professor of History, obtained I Rank in Diploma course in Gandhian Thought Examinations conducted on March 2012. She Received the “Rememberance Gift” from the College of Gandhian Thought on 05.10.2012 by the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai.
On 143rd “Gandhi Jeyanti Celebration”, Madurai Kamaraj University Gandhian Studies and Ramalinga Philosophy conducted various competitions. Students P.Meenal, I B.Sc. Mathematics won the I Prize in the Elocution Competition, K.Sumathi and G.Gunadeepa, II Mathematics (Regular) won the I and II Prize in the Quiz competition respectively. II Mathematics students S.Arunadevi participated in the Essay Competition and P.Ramalakshmi, participated in the Elocution Competition.
Mrs. M.Muthuppandi, Assistant Professor of History and Mrs.T.Anusuya, Assistant Professor of Tamil, Participated in the workshop on “Interfaith Relations” organized by the Centre for Religion and Interfaith Relations, Lady Doak College, Madurai on 2nd & 3rd October 2012.
Mrs.M.Muthuppandi, Assistant Professor of History and 4 students have participated in the seminar entitled “ Vallalarurum Manithaneyam” Organized by Madurai Kamaraj University, Gandhian Studies and Vallalar Philosophy, Madurai on 04.10.2010.
Examinations for the Certificate and Diploma Course in Gandhian Thought of Madurai Kamaraj University were conducted at our college on 7th, 8th and 9th March 2013. Totally 2047 students from both I and II year and 15 staff members of our college have attended the Examination.
