Functions

  • Coordinating the Board of Studies, Academic Council, Governing body and Award committee meetings
  • Coordinating the Academic works of the departments
  • In-charge of Matters, relating to the college curriculum
  • Monitoring the Course-file maintained by each department
  • Monitoring the faculty attending National Level Programmes organized by other Institutions
  • Attending the interview committee meeting for selecting the new faculty
  • Giving orientation to the newly appointed faculty on curricular aspects
  • Looking after the shifting of students from one major to another when vacancies arise at the time of Admission
  • Taking necessary steps to have enough students for the departments to carry out interdisciplinary activities
  • Considering and recommending the discontinued students to have opportunities to repeat their semesters for genuine reasons
